Caspian Charlie Fiskeaux came into the world on July 26, 2006 at 2:50 a.m. He weighed 7lbs, 13oz and measured 21" long. Labor was 6 hours long, 100% unmedicated, and resulted in no perineal tearing, praise the Lord! Caspain has either red or blond hair and a widow's peak like mommy, and grey-blue eyes (for now). He's named after the Narnian king and Charlie's paternal grandfather. We checked out of the hospital Friday night...then back in again Saturday afternoon to treat his jaundice. We stayed in for three days and went back home again Monday evening.

Early on, he had his days and nights half switched, but he was a strong nurser. He slept even more deeply than his daddy (but mommy woke every time his breathing changed). He enjoyed eating, watching the ceiling fan, sleeping upright on mommy's chest, belching like a sailor, and having lotion put on him. Now he's almost one! He's still exclusively breastfed (his choice) and cloth diapered, and we keep a family-style bed. He is the #1 most gorgeous thing we have ever seen. Ever.
